Chief Fante joined the Ballardsville Fire Department in 1995 as a recruit. Over his career, his dedication to the fire service, and to the personnel, he supervised, lead to him being appointed Chief of the department in January of 2006. Chief Fante was then hired as the paid Chief on December 28th, 2006. Chief Fante prides himself in being able to lead his personnel in fire protection for the fire district. His excellence in leadership has earned the respect of the personnel and members of the community & his peers in Public Safety in the county.
